Manado State University

Abstract

Credit is the most important part of the bank^s business activities, as an effort to provide a sense of security for each bank^s operational activities. In the implementation of bank lending, in addition to technical and financial analysis, legal security must also be carried out, through strong collateral binding, including the installation of Mortgage Rights on the object of credit guarantees that have been realized by the bank. This paper raises the issue of the legal consequences of liability in banking credit, using a normative research method. This approach is used in analyzing legal materials by referring to legal norms in laws and regulations and court decisions as well as various literatures related to the object of research.
The results of this study indicate that in a liability agreement, the number of subjects that is considered, in this case more than one creditor and/or debtor. In an active liability engagement, each creditor has the right to collect all obligations in the liability engagement from the debtor. The obligation in the obligation to bear responsibility is the obligation to deliver money which can naturally be divided, then the debtor can fulfill the obligation simultaneously to each creditor until the total amount is equal to the debtor^s overall obligations. The debtor has the right to be sued in its entirety by the creditor, for all his receivables. Liabilities between debtors are meaningless, if the nature of the object of the engagements allows for distribution of the implementation.

Abstract

Tlagah Village is the largest village in Banyuates District, Sampang Regency. However, based on observations, the village still does not provide optimal health services to the community. Based on the results of interviews with the Village Head, it was found that the media for delivering village health service information to the community was still manual and not systematized. Communities obtain village health service information from person to person. To maximize health services, one thing that can be done is to use the help of health service technology. Based on these conditions, it is very important to develop applications to support Tlagah village health services. The technology that can be developed is health service applications in the form of mobile and websites. The development method used in this research is to use the waterfall model development stages. The product development flow consists of 1) Requirements Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Testing, 5) Maintenance. Based on the results of the development and the results of trials that have been carried out previously, it can be concluded that the development of the SILAKES application is feasible to use to support the effectiveness and efficiency of health services in the village. The feasibility of the product is based on the assessment of media experts on the usability aspect of the system with a percentage gain of 82.22% in the feasible category and 100% system functionality in the valid category. In addition, the results of small group trials on the usability aspect of the system obtained 86.70% in the feasible category and 100% system functionality in the valid category. Then the results of the large group trial on the usability aspect of the system obtained 84.15% in the feasible category and 100% system functionality in the valid category. Abstract

Besides giving birth to a new phenomenon that provides many benefits to the economy, the development of the capital market has also led to the emergence of various forms of white-collar crime that have the potential to harm society at large. In contrast to crimes in general which have the potential to cause direct losses, crimes in the capital market are often considered not to cause harm that can be seen clearly and felt directly. The losses caused by this form of crime are not even considered to be calculated with certainty. One of the crimes in the capital market is insider trading or known as Insider Trading. In relation to this research, what will be examined and studied is the legal regulation in Indonesia in relation to the crime of insider trading in the Capital Market. To get answers to existing legal problems, the normative legal research method is used, which is one of the commonly known study methods in the field of legal science to examine the substance of positive law textually (not only on norms, but also principles, even values). -the values contained therein).

Abstract

Abstract: Students^ entrepreneurship is getting more important nowadays. Some graduates work as entrepreneurs. It becomes one of the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) of Higher Education, especially the 1st IKU. Many universities have also included entrepreneurship courses in all bachelor and diploma degree study programs. The government holds a student entrepreneurship development program through the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology in the student entrepreneurship program. On the one hand, the government and universities have made efforts to develop students^ entrepreneurship skills. However, its development is not progressive. Many students do not have the orientation, and abilities, and make entrepreneurship an option for their future.
Based on this understanding, research is carried out on entrepreneurial students based on cases at the Faculty of Social Sciences, UNNES. This research aims to study students^ motivation to conduct entrepreneurial activities and factors that support them to carry out such things. The research uses a qualitative case method. The subjects and informants are the students who have entrepreneurial activities in the Faculty of Social Sciences (FIS), the lecturers, and the students^ entrepreneurship assistants. The findings show that the main motivations of entrepreneurial students are to earn independent income, help ease the economic burden on their parents, take advantage of hobbies to add business startups and influence friends and entrepreneurship courses. Some factors that support them to hold entrepreneurial activities are family (entrepreneurial family), social environment, having friends who are also entrepreneurs, participating in one or more entrepreneurship training activities, internships and entrepreneurship courses.

Faculty of Languages and Literature, Universitas Negeri Makassar

Abstract

This paper is based on a literature review aimed at providing the rationale for the introduction of a new course named ^English Language School Management^ in the newly revised curriculum of the English Language Education Study Program (ELESP) in the Faculty of Languages and Literature at Universitas Negeri Makassar, Indonesia. The curricular revision was mandated by the introduction of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka program at the university in its partial implementation (pilot project) in 2020 and then in its full, university-wide implementation in 2021. In contrast to the serious lack of attention from the English language education academic circles towards Indonesian private English language schools-despite their popularity and contribution, the new course was initiated based on the conviction that ELESP students need to know how private English language schools work and are run because they are: (1) one of the forms of education recognized by the state (i.e. non-formal education in the national education system)- (2) one of the underutilized partners in English language teacher education and training (e.g for teaching, research, and community outreach)- (3) where ELESP graduates could be employed as teachers or managers- and (4) a form of entrepreneurship that ELESP graduates could start on their own thereby creating employment opportunities and, in the current post-Covid-19 pandemic era, helping reduce the impacts of the pandemic on the society at large.

Abstract

Although the government has established the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) and the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the involvement of Higher Education and other agencies is crucial, given the vast territory of Indonesia, which consists of 17,000 islands with diverse geographical characteristics and resource capabilities. As a scientific community and a forum for experts on disaster, tsunami, earthquake, earth science, geographers, sociologists, scientists, artists, athletes, geopolitics, doctors, medical personnel, psychologists, and economists. The role of Higher Education is very important to support the government in disaster management in Indonesia. This study aims to increase the role of Higher Education disaster mitigation through disaster management synergies both pre-disaster, during, and post-disaster. The data in this study uses observation and documentation method of Unesa^s role in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) by sorting out three pillars of DRR, namely: 1. DRR management. 2. DRR Education, 2. DRR Learning Facilities. Regarding the management of DRR, Unesa has established a Crisis Mitigation Center Unit (SMCC). The SMCC is tasked with synergizing resources at Unesa for disaster mitigation purposes in Indonesia and this is a pre-disaster mitigation program. Regarding DRR Education, SMCC has implemented various program activities involving Lecturers, Students and Alumni. These programs are Community Service Program (KKN), education and community empowerment towards disaster independent communities. Programs during disaster and post-disaster that can be carried out include forming volunteer teams, evacuation teams, disaster care posts, public kitchens, shelters, fundraising, rehabilitation and reconstruction. Unesa has also reduced the cost of education and immediate assistance for affected students and organized a ^Sit-in Student^ program and credit transfers for students in disaster areas to send assistant lecturers.

Choirul Anwar

State University Of Jakarta

Abstract

This study aims to find out the effect of independent variables on the success of internal control at State Universities in Indonesia. This research was conducted in two stages which is better known as mixed method research. The method used in this method begins with the correlation of quantitative measurements between independent variables and the dependent variable along with respondents from the Internal Control Unit of State Universities in Indonesia who take education and training by the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (Internal State Auditor). Then, the results of the quantitative method are further analyzed by the informants.

The results of the t test, it was found that the controller as the developer of the workforce strategy variable and the controller as the technology user each of them has a significant influence on the success of internal control. This is realized by the results of p-values below 0.05 for each variable, explicitly 0.01 and 0.026. While the controller as a value-added provider and controller as a trusted advisor variable, each of them is not significant to the success of internal control along with p-value results above 0.05, explicitly 0.06 and 0.410. The opinion of the informants also supports the variable of controller as workforce strategy developers and controller as users of technology in the success of internal control. The coefficient determination in this study is 72.20%, which means that 27.90% of the success of internal control is determined by other factors, while 72.20% of the success of internal control is resulting from the independent variables studied in this research.

Abstract

World Class University is one of the obstacles facing higher education. Nowadays, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendibudristek) has eight Key Performance Indicators (IKU) for higher education that are aligned with a variety of indicators applied by world-class ranking institutions or World Class University (WCU). All universities are required to respond quickly and effectively, particularly Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), which seeks to grow into a conservation-focused institution with a global reputation. Leadership is the fundamental factor determining university vision. Growing Leadership was conceptualized by Fathur Rokhman (2016, 2018), and it is comparable to a tree with principles that aims to: (1) recognize the seeds of leadership growth, (2) cultivate a robust leadership tree, (3) establish a network of leadership trees, (4) manage leadership storms, and (5) cultivate new leadership seeds. According to the data analysis, the most crucial component of the five stages is expanding the tree^s leadership, but the other four are also significant. Therefore, the essential step that must be performed is developing a leadership model for strengthening the professionalism of education professionals in the direction of a World Class University.

Abstract

Various designs of online learning, such as full online and hybrid learning, were used during the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has subsided, and the government has decided to implement offline education in schools and colleges. This study aims to analyze students^ and lecturers^ experiences with online and hybrid learning and to make recommendations for learning design in universities after the pandemic is over. This study employs a descriptive analysis design, with respondents from the State University of Semarang. A closed and open questionnaire administered via Google Form were used to collect data. Interviews were also used to gain a better understanding of the pandemic^s impact on lecturers and students. The descriptive quantitative data analysis method was used. According to the findings, the majority of students and lecturers preferred offline learning and stated that they were willing to return to campus to study. During online and hybrid learning, many obstacles and challenges arise. Stress among students has skyrocketed. The main impediment to the smooth operation of lectures is the lack of online and hybrid learning options. Students, on the other hand, believe that lecturers can create a challenging lecture process for them. Blended learning is a possible alternative learning design. Face-to-face and online learning are combined and are complementary.
