IMPLEMENTING TEACHING FACTORY IN PRIVATE VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL: AN EVALUATION

Abstract

Teaching factory is a form of learning process where the industrial atmosphere is presented directly in the implementation process. The purpose of the teaching factory itself is to improve the quality of SMK graduates to reduce the unemployment rate. This research is evaluation research using the CIPP model. The CIPP model itself was chosen to review the implementation of the teaching factory through the aspects of context, input, process, and product. The data collected in this study is quantitative data and presented in descriptive form. The subjects of the research were productive teachers and administrators of the private vocational school teaching factory in Malang City. The results of this study in terms of context, input, process, and product aspects are in the very appropriate category.
