ANALYSIS OF CONSTRUCTION SERVICE REQUIREMENTS TOWARDS MINIMUM STANDARDS OF WORK KNOWLEDGE OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS Universitas Negeri Manado Abstract The absorption of vocational education graduates in Indonesia in the field of construction services is still relatively low. This research is important to do to see the level of achievement and suitability of students^ competencies to the needs of construction services. The purpose of this study was to determine the minimum competence of vocational high school students^ working knowledge required by construction services in carrying out concrete construction work. Method of this research is descriptive qualitative research. The research data were collected through surveys, field observations, and focus group discussions with construction service actors and selected vocational high school teachers. The research location was conducted in Manado City and Tomohon City, North Sulawesi Province. The research data collected is then grouped according to work indicators, and analyzed for compliance with the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI). The results of the study found that the minimum knowledge competence of vocational high school students who must meet the needs of construction services in carrying out concrete construction work are understanding about scaffolding, formwork, installation of reinforcement, and concrete casting.
