Abstract

Dewi Durga is located in the niche of Prambanan Temple, Yogyakarta. Yogya^s geographical condition is prone to earthquakes. The collapse of the temple building risks the destruction of the statue so that it is difficult to reconstruct. The use of Artificial Intelligent (AI) applications is possible to reconstruct artifacts. But AI visualization is sometimes pretty wild. Aesthetic ornamentation does not refer to cultural authenticity.
Research objectives: 1). the creation of artifact assets in the form of digital cultural heritage, 2). the creation of AI works with a representation of Javanese Hindu cultural originality.
Conservation studies use archaeological research methodology. As for the inventory of ornaments of originality artifacts using Charles Sanders Pierce^s Semiotic method (icons, indexes, and symbols).
Scanning using CrearForm Technology produces digital data that has a perfect level of accuracy, both body proportions and attributes worn by the statue. Documenting relief photos, editing as a contribution to AI algorithm reading to produce aesthetic ornament truth.
The results of digital research data become assets that can display the statue again in the event of man-made damage, loss, or disaster. Another implication is that the movement of the imagination of AI algorithms is not wild. algorithm is ^a set of instructions to be followed in calculations or other operations. This research contributes to the fields of art, design, and enriches the cultural treasures of Ancient Java.

Institut Teknologi Statistika dan Bisnis Muhammadiyah Semarang

Abstract

Poverty has emerged as a pressing issue in developing nations, such as Indonesia. It refers to a state where individuals are unable to meet their fundamental necessities. Between September 2020 and March 2021, there was a notable rise of 20.09 thousand individuals living in poverty in urban regions. This increase was the most significant in East Java Province when compared to other provinces in Indonesia. Analyze poverty cases using spatial analysis using a distance weighting matrix. Poverty in a region is influenced by poverty in the surrounding areas, resulting in poverty data that includes spatial effects or regional aspects. To analyze data with these spatial effects or regional aspects spatial regression is employed. In this research, the variable usedis the poverty level in the Eastern region of Java Province (Y), with four X variables, Average Years of Schooling (X1), Minimum Wage per Regency City (X2), Open Unemployment Rate (X3), and total population (X4). The weighting matrix utilized is the Euclidean Distance Weighting Matrix, which calculated the distance weighting matrix between different areas. The best Spatial Regression Model used is the Spatial Error Model (SEM). Modeling results using the Spatial Error Model (SEM) and the factors that influence poverty are Average Years of Schooling (X1) and Open Unemployment Rate (X3).

Abstract

There are two works created by AI art generator that depict the phenomenon of Jakarta^s submergence, illustrating the atmosphere during football match and crowd activities. These artworks bring denotations of reality that construct a connotative interpretation. This also evoke the ideology that the current situation has the potential to cause flooding disasters in Jakarta. The visual imagery has resulted in confusion regarding whether this constitutes reality or post reality. This research aims to comprehend the visual construction of AI art generator technology and people^s perceptions. The methodology employed in this study utilizes Roland Barthes semiotics, which interpret signs through denotation, connotation, and myth, supplemented by a perception methodology to understand how individuals respond to these works. From the discussions, it is evident that AI constructs denotative aspects through its algorithmic technology by combining various formalisms that construct reality, subsequently introducing elements of hyperreality containing aspects of impossibility within the social, economic, and cultural contexts. This serves as both the strength and weakness, showcasing the success of the AI art generator in constructing a visual imagery. In conclusion, people^s visual interpretations of AI art generator works are built upon the denotative elements of reality and are influenced by the sociocultural context.

Abstract

The National Museum of Indonesia presents innovation by providing virtual visits via the Virtual Tour platform on the official website. It becomes a digital asset heritage with a dual concept, combining physical and virtual space. Virtual Tours offer an alternative tourism experience, although they have limitations as a human-made medium. The problem is that museums are trying to maintain visitor interest by providing a virtual experience that is close to reality, however, it needs to be researched further whether it can provide an unforgettable tourist experience. This research aims to determine the efforts of the Virtual Tour technology User Interface in narrating the National Museum collection and determine the memorable tourism experience felt by users when interacting with the Virtual Tour. Qualitative research with a phenomenological approach explores User Interface efforts and user experiences when interacting with the National Museum Virtual Tour. From the discussion analysis, it is known that the Indonesian National Museum Virtual Tour user interface presents a narrative that traps users as if they were in a physical museum. This approach is visible from the initial wizard to the user interface elements designed to provide an intuitive interface. Understanding memorable tourism experiences involves seven main components, but not all of them are always realized in the six-point User Experience description, which includes perception, interaction, evaluation, emotions, relationships and accessibility. The conclusion of this research is that the user interface provides an authentic narrative, creates an atmosphere similar to visiting a physical museum, and provides a feeling of immersion when exploring the collection virtually. The presence or absence of a memorable tourism experience in the User Experience becomes dynamic and varies depending on the interaction and interrelation between the User Experience description points and the seven components of the memorable tourism experience.

Abstract

In general, telegram is known as an application for exchanging messages. But on the other hand, telegram is also widely used because of bot features such as video and audio downloaders from other platforms, as a movie watching application with the channel feature, and there are also features that are currently busy, namely the anonymous chat feature. This anonymous chat allows users to interact with other users without knowing each other^s name, gender or user goals in using the anonymous chat feature. This research analyzes the other side of telegram as a means of communication which aims to find out how far people access the Anonymous chat feature on the telegram platform using 5 indicators which include information search behavior, seeking entertainment to fill spare time, building and multiplying relationships and connections, online business and also meeting strangers.
This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of data used is primary data. Primary data sources were obtained by distributing questionnaires online. A total of 54 respondents who are users of the Anonymous Chatt feature were sampled in this study. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed using a single analysis with the Anonymous Chatt feature as the object of research. This study involved 54 respondents who are Anonymous Chatt users and found that people who access anonymous chats do not have a specific reason for doing so. Based on the 5 indicators given, it can be seen that there are 52% of respondents who disagree which means that people only access it, not with a planned purpose. This proves that the anonymous chat feature is not so dangerous despite meeting many strangers. Choosing an effective social media is very important to avoid mistakes in using social media. Finding out how the anonymous chatt feature works can prove that anonymous chatt is a feature that is worth using or not.

Landscape Architecture, Agriculture Faculty, Udayana University

Abstract

This research is an exploratory study of the traditional Balinese landscape component called subak in the context of a sustainable urban environment. The research was carried out in the subak of Anggabaya Village which is located on the outskirts of Denpasar City, Bali Province. The pressure of residential growth in the city of Denpasar has occurred and spread to the city perimeter. The massive growth of the city has been affecting the existence of urban rice fields which are actually capable to function as green open spaces to balance built-up spaces. In this study, the focus is given to a plot of land in the rice field which is named telajakan subak. This study will examine the types, components and uses of the telajakan subak of Anggabaya Village in an urban setting, which is rarely done by other researchers. This study uses a qualitative research method. Data were collected using survey method. The study applies five elements of architecture as an approach to determine function, form, structure, construction and materials (soft elements and hard elements). The results show that there are two groups of telajakan subak types, namely those formed naturally and those man made ones. The types of natural and artificial subak telajakan are influenced by the function of the buildings in Subak, accessibility, irrigation channels and rivers. The telajakan arrangement consists of plants that function to support ceremonial activities, consumption and animal feed which are arranged irregularly. The dominant trailing pattern that is formed is elongated following the shape of the river and road. The telajakan subak show the potential to serve as a landscape structure that can support the sustainability of urban landscapes, especially concerning recent climate change issues. The telajakan subak has a significant contribution to the welfare of farmers to support daily needs such as consumption, social activities, culture and religious rituals.

You Can EdPop literature consists of works that are written with a broad readership in mind and are widely and persistently accepted. This genre includes graphic narratives (such as comic books and Komiks). Comics are a language made up of words, images, and the interactions between these two representational modalities on a page (Chute & DeKoven, 2006).
This study sought to analyze a graphic tale from the perspective of Sociocultural Linguistics^ Expressive Realism, which resulted in the identification of a literary analysis technique. The study focused on twenty-seven (27) ^Darna^ stories that were authored by Mars Ravelo in the 1950s and serialized in Filipino Komiks. This study uses documentary analysis as a qualitative research method.
The researcher discovered that: Darna redefines the heroine, and this is reflected in the notion of H.E.R.O.I.N.E., which stands for ^Humaneness and Equanimity in Reimagining an Optimistic, Iconic, Novel, and Empowered^ persona. The researcher came up with a method called ^Argustic Reading^ to explain an interpretation.
It is necessary to investigate a novel and different approach to attentively examining the text in order to foster readership and create a society that values literacy.

Analysing the Relationship Between Built-Up Area and Land Surface Temperature Using NDBI Processing: A Comparative Study of Makassar City in 2014 and 2023
Ilyas Nur Setiawan, Jumadi Jumadi

Faculty of Geography, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta

Abstract

The dynamic development of urban areas in Indonesia is intricately linked to population growth, economic expansion, and environmental dynamics. As of mid-2023, Indonesia^s population has surged to 273.8 million, ranking fourth globally in terms of population size. The unbridled urban growth has led to the restructuring of cities, transformation of agricultural lands, and a decline in green open spaces, resulting in deteriorating air quality, rising surface temperatures, and changes in land cover patterns. This phenomenon is notably evident in Makassar City, where insufficient green open spaces (less than 30%) and the conversion of land functions to buildings have escalated surface temperatures. This study aims to analyze the distribution of built-up land, land surface temperature (LST), and the relationship between changes in built-up land in Makassar City from 2014 to 2023, utilizing Landsat imagery. The analysis, employing Landsat imagery and the Normalized Difference Built-Up Index (NDBI) algorithm, reveals a significant growth in built-up land aligned with the development plans for Makassar City until 2026. Surface temperature classification indicates a substantial increase from 2014 to 2023, correlating with built-up land expansion. Simple linear regression results indicate a positive correlation between the extent of built-up land and surface temperature, with an R Square of 34.7% in 2014 and 38.9% in 2023. These findings underscore the impact of development on Land Surface Temperature (LST) and emphasize the urgency of built-up land management to mitigate heat-related urban impacts. The study highlights the need for strategic interventions and sustainable urban planning to curtail the adverse effects of rapid urbanization on environmental quality and public health.

Abstract

Boyolali Regency is an area with a wide variety of land uses, including village treasury land and oro-oro land. The importance of this land potential analysis lies in the need to optimize the use of existing land and mitigate risks related to disaster vulnerability. This research aims to analyze the land potential index, which can support decisions in managing and utilizing land effectively and efficiently. The main objective of this research is to explore the land potential index of village treasury land and oro-oro land in Boyolali Regency. This research uses a spatial analysis method with a geographic information system. The approach used involves giving a rating or scoring to each parameter of the land potential index and then overlaying it. The assessment is carried out on parameters such as topography, lithology, soil type, hydrology and disaster vulnerability. The value given to each parameter influences the level of land potential. The research results show that the land potential index in Boyolali Regency is divided into five classes, namely very low, low, medium, high and very high. Different land uses at each level of the land potential index show variations in the potential and vulnerability of land to various uses, such as settlements, gardens, moorlands, forests and rice fields. The field survey carried out produced a map of the distribution of village treasury land and oro-oro land with various land potentials. Determining the potential of land for relocation is seen from multiple aspects, including topography, land area, and location relative to protected or disaster-prone regions. This research provides important insights for land planning and management in Boyolali Regency, taking into account aspects of land potential and vulnerability.

2PT. TechnoGIS Indonesia, No. 152 B Jl. Pamularsih 55581, Ngaglik, Special Region of Yogyakarta

Abstract

Settlement patterns exhibit quantitative characteristics that support comparative analyses in terms of both time and space. These patterns, classified as uniform, random, or clustered, are influenced by various factors such as the relief of the earth^s surface, soil fertility, climate conditions, and cultural aspects of the population. This research aims to identify settlement distribution patterns based on topography in the Balik Bukit Subdistrict and explore the relationship between settlement patterns and topographic factors (slope inclination and elevation). The study employs the nearest neighbor analysis (NNA) and descriptive analysis methods. Results indicate that settlement distribution patterns, based on topography, vary with the elevation and slope inclination. Settlements tend to cluster in areas ranging from lowlands to hills, while settlement patterns based on slope inclination exhibit both clustering and dispersal. The analysis of the relationship between settlement patterns and slope inclination and elevation in the Balik Bukit Subdistrict reveals that clustered settlement patterns occur due to the diverse morphological conditions of the region, encompassing lowlands to highlands with rough relief.

Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta

Abstract

The Segara Anakan Mangrove is one of the largest mangrove forests on the island of Java, providing numerous ecological and economic benefits. The utilization of the mangrove forest has led to increased human activities, resulting in degradation, continuous changes in land, and a reduction in overall area, ultimately affecting the health of the mangrove forest. The objectives of this research are (1) to map changes in the distribution of the mangrove forest in Segara Anakan, Cilacap Regency, in 2018 and 2023, and (2) to analyze the extent of the distribution of mangrove forest health in Segara Anakan, Cilacap Regency, in 2018 and its changes in 2023. The study utilizes Sentinel 2A satellite imagery and employs the Support Vector Machine classification method to identify mangrove distribution. The Mangrove Health Index is used, incorporating four vegetation indices: NBR (Normalized Burn Ratio), GCI (Green Chlorophyll Index), SIPI (Structure Insensitive Pigment Index), and ARVI (Atmospherically Resistant Vegetation Index) to assess health conditions. The research results indicate a decrease in mangrove forest area from 7,681.59 hectares in 2018 to 6,869.53 hectares in 2023, spread across various sub-districts. The largest mangrove area is in the Kampung Laut sub-district. The health condition of the mangrove forest in both 2018 and 2023 is predominantly moderate (33.33% < MHI < 66.67%), covering 6,765.53 hectares in 2018 and 5,058.36 hectares in 2023, mainly in the Kampung Laut sub-district and partly in Cilacap Tengah and Cilacap Selatan sub-districts.
