Abstract

The magnitude of Indonesia^s tourism potential will provide great benefits for the welfare of society and progress for Indonesia. Various efforts continue to be made for the development of the tourism sector. Starting from developing new tourist destinations, national strategic projects, support for tourism development in the region and various other development strategies. Many local governments have made the tourism sector the leading economic development sector and improved the people^s welfare.
The strategy in managing an area was called a city branding strategy. The city branding strategy was an effort to form or develop the unique identity and characteristics of an area.
