Abstract
^MARIWASA^ is an Android mobile application that would serve as the users^ way of identifying how good or bad the air condition is. The device will trigger an alarm when the air quality has a huge number of harmful gases such as alcohol, ammonia, aromatic compounds, nitrogen oxide, and sulfide. The application will show the air quality in PPM (Parts per Million) as its measurement unit.
To design and develop a mobile application that will monitor the air quality and provide accurate and real-time results around the province of Rizal.
Quantitative Method, Experimental Method, ISO 25010, Pre-Test and Post-Test Survey, Agile Software Methodology.
The system^s efficiency ranked the highest because the results are being obtained without exerting too much effort, squandering too much time, or wasting paper. Its usability is very comprehensible because of its user-friendly interface. It is too easy to use- just a few clicks or taps and they are done. The results are highly reliable because the sensor used was perfectly made for monitoring the air quality.
The environmental agencies will be able to monitor the air and its level using the PPM (Parts Per Million) unit of measurement- The Department of Health will be able to monitor the citizen^s health in certain locations and its possible health risks- The local citizens will be well-informed on what place has the most polluted air.
