Dataset for the preparation and application of multi-component electrocatalysts in methanol oxidation based on non-precious metals for fuel cell and sensor under ambient-conditions
Nirwan Syarif, Dedi Setya Budidaya, Eliza

Universitas Sriwijaya

Abstract

Artificial intelligence methods facilitate data exploration, application, and analysis, increasing significantly, including machine learning. Data must be reliable and accessible, which places high demands on its acquisition and storage. This complexity is partly due to the wide range of lengths and time scales involved in the many different processes. The data in this article refer to the materials prepared as nonprecious metal electrocatalysts for methanol oxidation in fuel cells and sensors. Metal oxides are an alternative for such applications. Important parameters can be used to assess the performance of electrocatalysts: These four parameters are related to other quantities available as a dataset, namely castelli perovskite. The dataset contains data conduction, band energy, heat of formation in eV, Fermi energy, Fermi bandwidth, material, chemical formula, electronic band gap, magnetic moment, crystal structure, valence band energy level value). It is then to the experimental data through the material^s chemical formula. Nonprecious metal oxides include 483 materials (electrocatalyst materials). Based on the results of KMeans data processing, 483 electrocatalyst materials were grouped into 4 types. Thus, non-noble metal oxides can be categorized into 4 types. Correlation data processing shows that the current density correlates with
the proposed electrocatalyst type.

Physics Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Universitas Negeri Medan. (a) (b) (c)

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of antimony (Sb) doping concentration on the structural characteristics and morphological properties of ZnO:Sb thin films for enhanced optoelectronic applications. ZnO:Sb thin films with varying Sb doping concentrations (2.0%, 2.5%, 3.0%, 3.5%, and 4.0%) were synthesized and characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). XRD analysis confirmed that Sb doping maintains the wurtzite crystal structure of ZnO while significantly affecting structural parameters. Crystal size decreased progressively from 35.2 nm at 2.0% Sb to 31.2 nm at 3.0% concentration. SEM morphological analysis demonstrated distinct surface modifications with varying Sb concentrations. The films exhibited uniform grain distribution at lower concentrations, with morphological changes becoming more pronounced at higher doping levels. The study reveals that optimal Sb doping concentrations around 2.5%-3.0% provide favorable structural and morphological characteristics for potential applications in dye-sensitized solar cells and other optoelectronic devices.

This study addresses the ethical challenges faced by Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) teachers, highlighted by over 1,200 cases of professional ethics violations reported in the 2022 National Education Performance Evaluation. A significant number of these cases stem from a limited understanding of the professional code of ethics. PPKn teachers hold a strategic role in shaping students^ character based on Pancasila values. However, existing teaching modules are often generic and fail to meet the contextual needs of educators in the digital era.
The aim of this research is to develop a professional ethics teaching module for prospective PPKn teachers-classified as digital native teachers-grounded in Pancasila values, to enhance students^ cultural and civic literacy. This study employs the Borg & Gall Research and Development (R&D) model, comprising needs analysis, design, validation, field testing, revision, and implementation. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
The expected outcome is a professional ethics training module that is relevant, contextual, and firmly rooted in Pancasila values. The module is intended to empower future PPKn teachers to serve as innovators and role models in fostering civic literacy and preparing students to face the challenges of globalization. The proposed Technology Readiness Level (TRL) is at level 5, which includes the validation stage through field trials. This research is expected to enrich the academic literature on professional ethics education for PPKn teachers and strengthen the competencies of the digital native teacher generation

Abstract

This study aims to examine the various forms of metaphor found in anding-andingen (proverbs) of the Karo ethnic group. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through literature review using reading and note-taking techniques. The primary data source was the book 1000 Perumpamaan Karo (A Thousand Karo Proverbs) written by M. Singarimbun and published in 1960. Data analysis was conducted through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal four dominant categories of metaphor in Karo anding-andingen: anthropomorphic metaphors, animal metaphors, abstraction metaphors, and synesthetic metaphors. Among these, abstraction and synesthetic metaphors were the most frequently occurring. These findings suggest that anding-andingen function not only as figurative expressions but also as reflections of cultural values, cognitive patterns, and local wisdom embedded in Karo society.

Abstract

One of the main challenges in today^s society is the low level of understanding and appreciation among the younger generation toward cultural heritage. In fact, Indonesia^s ethnic diversity particularly in North Sumatra, which is home to eight major ethnic groups, holds great potential in shaping citizenship identity. This study aims to integrate elements of North Sumatran local culture into Civic Education as a means to strengthen citizenship identity. The research employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method, with data collected from relevant scientific journals, books, and articles. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data display, and verification. The findings reveal that incorporating local culture of North Sumatra into Civic Education is an effective strategy to foster students^ citizenship identity. Cultures from various ethnic groups such as Malay, Batak Toba, Karo, Mandailing, Simalungun, Pakpak, Angkola, and Nias are embedded into the learning materials, which are grounded in Pancasila values. This approach not only enhances students^ understanding of their rights and responsibilities as citizens, but also encourages the internalization of moral values, unity, and democracy. Through this program, the younger generation is shaped into Pancasila-oriented individuals who are ready to act as unifying agents within a multicultural society

The performance of a company is a significant indicator of its commercial success, particularly with regard to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). The present study aims to analyse the effect of green entrepreneurship, green innovation, and green finance in optimising the performance of MSMEs in Medan City, with company age serving as a moderating variable. This research constitutes an Ex post facto study, with the research respondents comprising MSME owners. The present study examined a sample of 106 MSMEs, employing structural equation modelling (SEM) to analyse the hypothesised relationships between the variables. The findings of this study suggest that green entrepreneurship exerts a significant influence on the augmentation of green innovation within the domain of MSMEs. However, this influence does not translate into tangible benefits concerning the performance of these enterprises. The implementation of green finance and green innovation in the company is expected to result in a substantial enhancement in the performance of MSMEs. The age of the company has been shown not to be a determining factor in its success- moreover, it does not moderate the relationship between green entrepreneurship, green innovation and green finance. However, the implementation of green entrepreneurship has been demonstrated to exert an influence on company performance through the application of green innovation. The findings of this study suggest that companies that persist in their commitment to innovation and the integration of green entrepreneurship practices are likely to exert a favourable influence on the enhancement of MSME performance.

Abstract

This paper investigates the phenomenon of nyeleneh acronyms commonly used in Indonesian government application systems from a socio-pragmatic perspective. Simply put, nyeleneh refers to something unusual, bizarre, or beyond expectation which is often used to describe ideas, behaviors, artworks, or actions that are uncommon from what is considered normal or conventional. This paper also analyzes acronyms that have developed in the context of the Indonesian government from a socio-pragmatic perspective, to understand how acronyms affect how information is conveyed and received by the public. The research method used is qualitative and data includes text analysis or acronyms in government application systems found in several regions in Indonesia. The results of this study show that acronyms are often used as a tool to simplify complex information, create a collective identity, and make it easier for the government to serve all the community^s needs with the available service application facilities. However, several applications use acronyms that tend to be taboo and vulgar or odd, the acronym naming is deliberately made to be easy to remember, interesting, meaningful, and close to the community. However, the reality is that the naming creates diverse perceptions such as the use of women as sexual objects, pornography, and the use of genitals. The conclusion shows that there are 3 categories found in acronym namely: objectivity of human nature and body, the pornography/sexuality in meaning, and objectivity towards gender. Finally, the use of acronyms in the Indonesian government application system needs to be optimized by using the right diction and paying attention to socio-pragmatic aspects to improve the effectiveness of communication and the cultural values of the local community.

Abstract

English instruction in elementary schools still faces challenges in integrating the four language skills-listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Existing student worksheets (LKS) often emphasize these skills in isolation, failing to reflect a holistic approach to language learning. This study aims to develop an English student worksheet based on integrated language skills tailored to the needs and characteristics of elementary school students. A Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model was employed. The stages of the study included: (1) Analysis-identifying teacher and student needs and reviewing the curriculum- (2) Design-structuring and formatting the worksheet- (3) Development-drafting and validating the worksheet through expert review- (4) Implementation-conducting limited and field trials- and (5) Evaluation-formative and summative evaluation to produce the final product. This paper focuses on the validation and initial testing of the integrated worksheet concept. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of more effective English teaching materials at the elementary level.
