Abstract
This study aims to develop teaching materials for the Indonesian Language Learning Strategy course with the help of the seesaw application and see the effectiveness of these teaching materials to increase student creativity and innovation in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Medan. This research is motivated by the lack of teaching materials for Indonesian Language Learning Strategies that are varied and innovative and able to stimulate creativity and positive character in students. In addition, lecturers and students have not utilized teaching materials assisted by the Seesaw application effectively. This research uses the Research and Development method which consists of seven stages, namely needs analysis, resource identification, product specification identification, product development, validation, product testing, and product. Based on the results of the research data analysis obtained: (1) the results of material expert validation obtained a value of 86.5% which included the valid category, (2) the results of design expert validation obtained a value of 85.5% which included valid. In addition, the results of the effectiveness test of this teaching material obtained a value of 87.4% which is included in the high category so that it can be concluded that this teaching material assisted by the seesaw application is suitable for use in learning and can stimulate creativity and the ability to innovate in students.
