The performance of a company is a significant indicator of its commercial success, particularly with regard to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). The present study aims to analyse the effect of green entrepreneurship, green innovation, and green finance in optimising the performance of MSMEs in Medan City, with company age serving as a moderating variable. This research constitutes an Ex post facto study, with the research respondents comprising MSME owners. The present study examined a sample of 106 MSMEs, employing structural equation modelling (SEM) to analyse the hypothesised relationships between the variables. The findings of this study suggest that green entrepreneurship exerts a significant influence on the augmentation of green innovation within the domain of MSMEs. However, this influence does not translate into tangible benefits concerning the performance of these enterprises. The implementation of green finance and green innovation in the company is expected to result in a substantial enhancement in the performance of MSMEs. The age of the company has been shown not to be a determining factor in its success- moreover, it does not moderate the relationship between green entrepreneurship, green innovation and green finance. However, the implementation of green entrepreneurship has been demonstrated to exert an influence on company performance through the application of green innovation. The findings of this study suggest that companies that persist in their commitment to innovation and the integration of green entrepreneurship practices are likely to exert a favourable influence on the enhancement of MSME performance.
