Abstract

In the context of selling furniture online in an era of digital transformation and Industry 4.0, the main challenge is to give buyers confidence in the suitability of the furniture they choose with various important factors in its use. In deciding to buy furniture, consumers need to be sure that the dimensions, model, and color of the furniture to be purchased are compatible and following the room that will contain them. Without the right tools, it will be challenging for potential buyers to imagine the furniture product^s suitability and suitability if placed in a specific room. In order to effectively sell furniture products online, these challenges must be overcome. The technology used must unify customers^ physical experience when they see and feel the physical room with the visual of the furniture product, both in terms of shape, dimensions, color, model, and other aspects in a virtual environment. It can be done by utilizing Augmented Reality (AR) technology.
In the context of the furniture industry, some application models use AR technology and mobile technology for online product customization, including the following features: virtual shop (360-degree view), 3D product visualization, product price configurator and estimator, augmented renderer and room planning, and integration with ordering functions. The methodology used in developing AR-based systems in the furniture industry is Scrum. It is a framework for individuals or workgroups to adaptively solve complex activities and problems to produce and provide the best value. It is estimated that the implementation of the work will take as much as 120 (one hundred and twenty) working days. The work is carried out by applying the Scrum methodology, characterized by the iterative management of planning and building activities.

Abstract

The development in river channels are such as groundsill, shortcut, river normalization and more increasing sand retrieval will change the balance of the river and it will continue to seek new adjustment until the riverbed is stable and dynamic. River handling by developing shortcut causes a lot of new problems. Problems that occur included lowering river water surface, uncontrolled erotion of the river bed and infrastructure damage due to changes in hydraulic behavior and sedimentation characteristic.
To determine the changes in the river bed that occur in a single meandering river with the angle of 90 degree by developing shortcut, a study was carried out covering hydraulic behavior and sedimentation characteristic. The approach used is to make a physical model by testing the MPM empirical method.
Physical and empirical modeling in this study were carried out with smooth sand bed material. Flow discharge that enters to the model used with various input discharge, that is Q = 2.183 lt/s, Q = 2.997 lt/s, Q = 3.891 lt/s and Q = 4.858 lt/s. After running the physical model, analysis of the calculation of sediment volume at the control point were carried out using the MPM method ( Meyer-Peter and Muller). Then it was carried out sediment control at bends and shortcut between the physical model and the MPM empirical calculation.
The results of physical modeling using the MPM empirical method test on several treatments above, shortcut development is very influential to lowering river water surface. The sediment control at bends and shortcut show the same trend between the physical model and the MPM empirical calculation, that is, at the bend there is a sediment derivation from the first flow test, then in the test there is an escalation in sediment transport. Whereas in the shortcut, there was an escalation in sediment from the first flow test, then in the next flow test there was a derivation in sediment even though the discharge was increased.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the few countries recognized as having high potential in aquaculture for two decades, especially grouper aquaculture. Grouper fish is also a type of fish that has high economic value, its presence in the community, especially fishermen, has made Indonesia the fourth largest grouper producing country in the world. Even though it is beneficial for the Indonesian economy, grouper fish cannot be separated from the constraints in the process as well as the impacts caused by its own application, such as overfishing. Therefore, grouper cultivation is carried out as a step to reduce the bad effects of the problems previously described. There are many things that must be considered in order for the cultivation go without obstacles in the process, one of the most important things to consider is the regulations used in grouper cultivation. This regulation is used as a guide so that the cultivation process is more sustainable from several aspects that will be discussed in the form of hatchery, feed, economy, and the environment.

Abstract

Center for Material and Technical Products (B4T) is a government agency under the auspices of the Indonesian Ministry of Industry. The problem faced by the B4T Automotive Laboratory is that the company^s target in the tire testing process is not achieved because it is unable to achieve the target of increasing the capacity of 10% annually. This is due to the large number of tire testing orders that have been delayed from the specified due date. The flow pattern that occurs in the tire testing process is a flexible flow shop type. The current scheduling method used is the FCFS method which is considered less effective because it does not see the capacity of each machine, causing waiting time and bottlenecks. Another phenomenon that causes the opportunity for greater delays because dynamic job arrivals have not been accommodated, the schedule made must be able to keep up with job changes and rescheduling. This research focuses on improving and designing a rescheduling model that can accommodate dynamic job arrivals by combining the TOC and Time Window with the aim of minimizing the mean tardiness so that it can meet the predetermined due date. The proposed scheduling method uses a combination of the algorithm for determining the length of the time window with the branch and bound algorithms of Ignall and Scharge. Time window algorithm is used to accommodate dynamic job arrival patterns. Meanwhile, the branch and bound algorithm is used to find the optimal sequence of jobs scheduled in the flexible flow shop flow. Meanwhile, the scheduling method used to schedule jobs at non-constrained stations is to use backward scheduling because the constraint station is at the end of the process. The results of this proposed scheduling have better efficiency in reducing the average time for job delays by 31%. So that this proposed scheduling model can be recommended to be applied in the B4T Automotive Laboratory in overcoming the problem of job delays in the tire testing process

Abstract

This research was carried out in the process of making the spring guide grip, which is one of the motorcycle components that serves to protect the shock breaker. Based on production data in August 2020, it can be seen that there is a bottleneck in the flashing process. This is because the flashing process time is smaller than the output in the previous process. The flashing process still uses conventional tools, namely ordinary knives and operator power so that the time is not constant. So this study aims to design a tool for the flashing process to speed up the flashing process time and reduce bottlenecks. The design method is the rational method with the steps of clarifying objectives, defining functions, establishing specifications, determining characteristics, generating alternatives, evaluating alternatives. The design result is in the form of a cutting tools for the flashing process, namely cutting tools using 4 blades that are made like a knife table. This tool serves to cut scrap and scraps of material produced by injection molds. The moving tool uses a pneumatic cylinder component using electric power generated by the compressor. The cutting tools themselves are made practical because they are easy to assemble and the components such as frames are easy to find and care for. Based on the engine simulation test, in one cutting process the tools can cut 4 products at once in 6 seconds. It is faster than the processing time in the machine before the flashing process so the bottleneck is reduced or even non-existent

Quality of Trading Space on the Informal Market in Jakarta
Dedi Hantono*, Budi Prayitno, and Diananta Pramitasari

Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta

Abstract

Abstract. The informal market grows and develops without planning and design. Therefore this market has many limitations and pressures from its environment. The informal market grows without being planned (unorganized) and develops independently (self organized) so that the trading space that is formed has various levels of spatial quality and does not have certain standards. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct research in finding the quality level of trading space in the informal market and classifying it based on the quality of the space. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data were taken from several similar literature studies which were then enriched by direct observations on informal markets in Jakarta. The results show that the quality of the trading space has a spatial quality sequence ranging from imaginary to visible. From this quality range, trading spaces can be grouped into 4 types, namely: street vendor, stall, bazaar, and flea vendor.

Abstract

In this paper, stability conditions of the Lorenz system at the second equilibrium
point are investigated by applying Gardano^s method where the system has three equilibria
points. Most of the previous work focused their studies at the original point. A few studies
demonstrated stability of dynamical systems at another equilibria points by use of conventional
techniques. However, it is often unclear and based on numerical methods. This reason,
motivate us to establish the stability conditions of the Lorenz system at a point which different
from the origin point and compare between them. Finally, An illustrative example shows the
effectiveness and feasibility of this method.

oscillator with four nonlinear terms. As a control application, we design backstepping based
global chaos synchronization for a pair of new chaotic jerk systems. As a circuit application,
we design MultiSIM electronic circuit for the new chaotic jerk system. The MultiSIM outputs
show good agreement with the MATLAB outputs for the new jerk system.

Abstract

A new 3-D chaotic system with an apple-shaped equilibrium curve is proposed in this
research work. There is great interest in the literature in discovering chaotic systems with closed
curves of equilibrium points. In this work, we report a new 3-D chaotic system with an appleshaped closed curve of equilibrium points. We perform a detailed dynamic analysis of the chaotic
system with bifurcation diagram, Lyapunov exponents, phase portraits, etc. We show that the
new chaotic system is multi-stable with coexisting chaotic attractors. As a circuit application, we
design MultiSIM electronic circuit for the new chaotic system. The MultiSIM outputs show good
agreement with the MATLAB outputs for the new chaotic system.

Abstract

A new 4-D hyperchaotic two-wing system with three quadratic nonlinearities is
proposed in this paper. The dynamical properties of the new hyperchaotic system are described
in terms of phase portraits, Lyapunov exponents, Kaplan-Yorke dimension, symmetry,
dissipativity, etc. Also, a detailed dynamical bifurcation analysis of the hyperchaotic system
has been studied using bifurcation diagrams. As an engineering application, an electronic
circuit realization of the new hyperchaotic two-wing system is developed in MultiSIM, which
confirms the feasibility of the theoretical hyperchaotic two-wing system.

Abstract

A new 4-D multi-stable hyperchaotic two-scroll system with four quadratic
nonlinearities is proposed in this paper. The dynamical properties of the new hyperchaotic
system are described in terms of finding equilibrium points, phase portraits, Lyapunov
exponents, Kaplan-Yorke dimension, dissipativity, etc. We discover that the new hyperchaotic
system has no equilibrium point and hence it exhibits a hidden attractor. Furthermore, we show
that the new hyperchaos system has multi-stability by the coexistence of hyperchaotic
attractors for different values of initial conditions. As a control application, we use integral
sliding mode control (ISMC) to derive new results for the hyperchaos synchronization of the
new 4-D multi-stable hyperchaotic two-scroll system with hidden attractor.

Abstract

The use of animated multimedia in vocational schools in Indonesia is still not optimal,
this is due to the lack of innovative teaching materials, especially multimedia-based instructional
materials. This study aims to apply the results of the development of innovative teaching
materials based on engineering animated image Multimedia for Vocational High Schools
especially in the competence of Mechanical Engineering expertise. The method used in this
application is using the Experimental method, namely by directly testing the product of
Multimedia Animation Engineering Drawing (MMAED) to schools that have mechanical
engineering competencies in Indonesia. From the application of Multimedia Animation
Engineering Drawing (MMAED), students can increase their competencies in engineering
material, especially orthogonal projection material.

Abstract

Applications of dynamical systems in chaos theory arising in several areas are
investigated and circuital implementations of dynamical systems are studied by many
researchers. In this work, we consider the fish-biology dynamical system introduced by
Foutayeni and Khaladi (2016). By taking a different set of parameter values, we observe chaos
in the Foutayeni-Khaladi fish-biology model and derive a new fish-biology chaotic system.
Properties of the new fish-biology chaotic system are analyzed by means of phase portraits,
Lyapunov exponents, and Kaplan-Yorke dimension. An electronic circuit realization is shown
to validate the chaotic behavior of the new 3-D fish-biology chaotic system. The circuit
experimental results of the 3-D fish-biology chaotic system show agreement with numerical
simulations.

Abstract

A new four-dimensional chaotic system with only two quadratic nonlinearities is
proposed in this paper. It is interesting that the new chaotic system exhibits a two-wing strange
attractor. The dynamical properties of the new chaotic system are described in terms of phase
portraits, equilibrium points, Lyapunov exponents, Kaplan-Yorke dimension, dissipativity, etc.
The new chaotic system has two saddle-foci, unstable equilibrium points. Thus, the new chaotic
system exhibits self-excited attractor. Also, a detailed analysis of the new chaotic system
dynamics has been carried out with bifurcation diagram and Lyapunov exponents. As an
engineering application, an electronic circuit realization of the new chaotic system is designed
via MultiSIM to confirm the feasibility of the theoretical 4-D chaotic model.
