This study involved 659 respondents. The data collection was carried out through online. This study focused to capture the public^s perception of anxiety and the benefits of implementing the PPKM. The results of the study showed that 85.4% of the total respondents believed that PPKM could suppress the spread of Covid-19, although there was still concern that PPKM was not effective enough. 92.9% of the total respondents become more appreciative with their health, and more understand about their strengths and weaknesses during PPKM, but they also worried about the quality of their children^s education. The conclusion of this study shows that the implementation of PPKM is considered effective to decrease the spread of Covid-19. Formulation Test Of Sendok Leaf Extract (Plantago Mayor L.) Gel With Optimization Variations Of Gelling Agent Carbomer 940 Concentration
A L Yusuf, D Nugraha , H. Setiawan

STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis

Abstract

Sendok leaves (Plantago major L) are often used for generations as medicine to treat inflammation [1]. Gels are very suitable to be used to carry or as a base of a nutritious substance that tends to dissolve in water. The purpose of this study was to physically test the gel containing the sendok leaf extract and the effect of the concentration of carbomer 940 as a gel base in the gel formulation to be made.
The method in this research is to add spoon leaf extract (Plantago major L) into a gel with a base of caromer 940, After the gel is formed, the next step is to test the gel with an organoleptic test, homogeneity test, dispersion test, adhesion test and viscosity test.
The results showed that carbomer 940 had an effect on gel quality and the optimal concentration of carbomer 940 for sendok leaf extract gel was 1.25% to 1.5%.

Mardiana, Kresna Febriyanto

Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur

Abstract

As many as 83% of heavy equipment operators experience low back pain, the wrong work position and repeated work results in low back pain. This study aims to determine the relationship between work position and complaints of low back pain in heavy equipment operators. This study was a crossectional research, which conducted among heavy equipment operator at PT.Kutai Bara Abadi. The analysis in this research used statistical test, namely Chi Square test with 95% confidence degree (= 0.05). From 45 respondents, 30 people (66.7%) in the Non-Ergonomic Working Position category experienced Low Back Pain complaints and 15 people (33.3%) did not experience Low Back Pain complaints. There were 15 heavy equipment operators or 33.3% did not experience low back pain and 30 heavy equipment operators or 66.7% experienced low back pain. There is a relationship between work position and low back pain complaints with a p value = 0.041 (p <0.05).

Abstract

Cassia siamea.Lamk (Johar) is a tropical plant that grows in various regions in Indonesia. Its bark, leaves, roots, and flowers are traditionally used for the treatment of various ailments, such as itches, malaria, constipation, diabetes, asthma, liver, abdominal pain, heart, etc. Although herbal medicine is generally considered safer to use than synthetic chemical drugs, it is necessary to determine the toxicity for long-term treatment. Therefore, this study aims to determine the acute toxicity of the ethanol extract of C. siamea leaves in Sprague Dawley rats using a fixed-dose method for 14 days. The results showed that the ethanol extract of C. siamea leaves at doses of 300, 2000, and 5000 mg/kgbw did not cause death, symptoms of toxicity, behavioral disorders, changes in body weight, liver and kidneys in rats. Therefore, the LD50 value of C.siamea leaf extract is categorized as non-toxic at a value above 5000 mg/kgbw.
