Behavior Changes Due to Landslides to Fulfill Social and Economic Needs for Strengthening Community Social Capital in Poi Village, South Dolo District,Sigi Regency UNTAD: Universitas Tadulako Abstract Disasters that have hit Central Sulawesi in the last two years are still the same. The tsunami, earthquake, liquefaction and other disasters resulted in several villages experiencing landslides, especially in Poi Village, Sigi Regency. The landslide disaster greatly affects the fulfillment of social and economic life of the community. The objectives of this study are: (a) to analyze the pattern of changes in community behavior due to landslides in Poi Village, (b) To analyze the level of landslide vulnerability using the AHP model in the Poi Village area, (c) To analyze landslide disaster management strategies in the village of Poi. Poi as community social capital. Data collection techniques used in this research are literature study, observation, interviews, questionnaires to documentation. Based on the results of the study that behavioral changes in meeting social and economic needs in Poi village affected by landslides were carried out with strategies, one of which was using sabo dam and designing vulnerability maps due to landslides, and various strategies in the form of a) reducing the density and activity of residents living in the area or landslide-prone areas, (b) determining evacuation routes and places in the event of a landslide in Poi Village, and (c) conducting community adaptation counseling by implementing agroforestry, namely mixed planting of agricultural crops with deep rooted trees. This strategy becomes the social capital of the community in dealing with landslides in the future.
