Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze the partial and simultaneous influence of profitability, financial leverage and market value on stock underpricing during Initial Public Offerings (IPO) of non-financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The study utilized purposive sampling to determine the sample size, resulting in 189 companies as the research sample. The data used were annual financial report data from the prospectuses of non-financial sector companies that went public between 2018 and 2022. Data collection was conducted using documentation techniques, and the data analysis method employed multiple linear regression analysis. The research findings indicate that profitability, financial leverage, and market value collectively have a significant influence on underpricing. Profitability, when considered individually, has a negative impact on underpricing. In contrast, financial leverage, when examined individually, does not affect underpricing. Market value, when analyzed individually, has a negative influence on underpricing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital wallet application usage and digital financial literacy on the consumptive behavior of students at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Tadulako. In the rapidly evolving digital era, the use of digital wallets has significantly increased, especially among younger generations, which may impact their spending patterns. Additionally, digital financial literacy is considered an important factor in managing personal finances and consumptive behavior. This research adopts a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to FEB UNTAD students as respondents. The collected data will be analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the influence of each independent variable (digital wallet usage and digital financial literacy) on the dependent variable (consumptive behavior). The results of this study are expected to provide insights into the extent to which the use of digital wallet applications contributes to student consumption levels, and whether digital financial literacy can act as a balancing factor in controlling such consumptive behavior. These findings may assist educational institutions in designing more effective financial literacy programs for students in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of investment, inflation, and provincial minimum wage on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in Central Sulawesi Province in 2018-2023. This study uses a quantitative method with panel data regression analysis, using secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Central Sulawesi. The results of the study indicate that investment has a positive and significant effect on GRDP, which means that increasing investment drives regional economic growth by creating jobs and increasing production capacity. Inflation has a negative and significant effect on GRDP, indicating that high inflation can reduce people^s purchasing power and hinder economic growth. The provincial minimum wage also shows a positive and significant effect on GRDP, indicating that an increase in UMP can increase workers^ purchasing power and household consumption, which in turn drives economic growth. The conclusion of this study is that inflation stability, increased investment, and appropriate UMP adjustments are important factors in driving economic growth in Central Sulawesi Province.

Abstract

Public economics is a branch of economics that studies public affairs, the public, the affairs of many people, society, government, or the state. It evolves as society develops. Richard A. Musgrave, a renowned public economist from the 20th Century who is currently Professor Emeritus in the Department of Economics at Harvard University, USA, argued that governments do three things in the economy: stabilization, allocation, and distribution. He argued that these must be understood to build a better future for everyone. In practice, government actions in carrying out these roles are interconnected with each other, so it is often difficult to clearly divide these roles into the three branches mentioned above. The focus of public economic analysis is on how the government uses resources and how that impacts on people^s welfare. It also looks at the relationship between fiscal policy and resource allocation.

Abstract

Monetary policy is an important instrument used by central banks to control the money supply and interest rates in the economy. This study aims to analyze the effect of monetary policy, represented by inflation and interest rates, on the financial performance of PT Unilever Indonesia, focusing on profit margin as the dependent variable. Using quantitative methods and multiple regression analysis, the data used includes PT Unilever^s financial statements for the period 2019-2023 as well as macroeconomic data from Bank Indonesia. The results of the analysis show that inflation has a significant negative effect on profit margin, reflecting that an increase in inflation can reduce consumer purchasing power. In addition, interest rates also show a negative influence on profit margin, indicating that an increase in interest rates increases the cost of borrowing, which results in a decrease in the company^s profitability. These findings provide important insights for company management in formulating strategies to cope with changing economic conditions influenced by monetary policy.
