With children attending inclusive schools, children will get the same benefits, the same rights, and obligations as other regular students in class, various facilities for learning and self-development, regardless of their limitations, and the main focus is an encouragement to be more confident, as well opportunity to learn and make friends with peers without discriminating.
In inclusive schools, children with special needs will be educated with other children who do not have similar limitations. In this class, students can be trained and educated to appreciate, respect, and accept each other empathetically.
I find your research very fascinating. however, could you explain to me again what makes this inclusive education better than the usual existing method we currently have?
To support optimal learning methods in inclusive education, especially in elementary schools, one of the main aspects is the need for special supervising teachers. The special supervising teacher must be an expert and understand what is needed in the learning process to handle children with special needs. The number of special supervising teachers in Indonesia is minimal, which makes some inclusive schools unable to implement inclusive schools.
I see. with a very limited human resources it will be very challenging indeed. Hopefully your research will be very beneficial for all involved in it.
Have a great day, Ms.
