Abstract
Tennis in North Sumatra, particularly in Medan, is currently a popular sport among all age groups, especially among the upper classes. This opens up opportunities for tennis coaches, especially those from the Faculty of Sport Science, to supplement their income and even become a lucrative profession. To maintain the excitement and excitement of tennis among the upper classes, tiered training programs with a structured agenda that accommodates all age groups are essential. This situation motivated researchers to create a curriculum that includes performance training programs, training programs, tennis skill assessment tests, and competition schedules, all of which will be linked to the North Sumatra Provincial and Regional Leadership Councils (PELTI).The curriculum of this tennis academy will be structured not only by age, as is the case with other sports academies, but will also accommodate all age groups with tiered skill levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced, and pro. This curriculum will also produce a report on the results of tests on abilities, skills, and intelligent playing in tennis matches, in collaboration with the Medan City Pelti (Tennis Training Center). Based on the explanation above, the researcher is interested in conducting research on the topic ^Developing a Skill-Based Tennis Academy Curriculum at the Volta Tennis Club.^
