Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Sports Massage

Abstract

The results of this study produced an SOP for sports massage courses. The study used the ADDIE method (analysis, design, development, implications, evaluation) using a sample of sports science students at Medan State University. This data collection involved experts and students. The population of this study was students of the sports science study program. sports in progress take subject massage semester academic
year 2023/2024 with population 65 people. Small sample 15 people, large sample 50 people. The test results are as follows: a) From the assessment of the language expert, the first and second expert tests obtained an increase of 11% with a recommendation to continue to the next stage. b) From the assessment of the material expert by conducting the first and second tests obtained an increase of 12% with a recommendation to continue to the next stage. c) From the assessment of the SOP
expert by conducting the first and second expert tests obtained an increase of 11% with a recommendation to continue to the next stage. d) From the treatment and testing carried out on the small group obtained a total score of 80% by making improvements and can be continued to the large group test. For the large group test showed an increase with a percentage of 90%. From the small and large group tests there was an increase of 10%. The conclusion from the results of the development of the sports massage SOP can be used in the sports science study program at the State University of Medan
