Abstract
Google Workspace has many features that can be used as learning media, including as an interactive whiteboard, as well as the availability of an asynchronous learning platform through Google Classroom, and other learning activities that can be viewed by students at any time. The interaction process between teachers and students can be expanded with Google Workspace which will ultimately also improve the quality of learning.
However, the current problem is that not many teachers have been able to utilize Google Workspace in a collaborative learning system. This is due to the lack of information and training on the use of Google Workspace. Therefore, efforts are needed to develop the competence of junior high school teachers in utilizing Google Workspace in a collaborative learning system, with the hope of providing knowledge and skills for teachers to improve the quality of the learning process. Efforts to develop teacher competence are carried out through training activities based on Integrated Community Service Real Work Lectures (P2M-KKN) and will take place in the 2022-2023 Academic Year.
The approach used in this training is ^Student Centered Learning^ with a project-based learning model (Project Based Learning). In the project-based learning model, it is expected that training participants can explore, assess, interpret, and synthesize to produce various forms of learning outcomes. This training uses discussion, demonstration, and work performance methods. The expected success indicators in this training activity are: (1) training participants can utilize Google Workspace in the Collaborative Learning System, and (2) through this training, training participants can become professional teachers by developing their potential and learning quality.
