Abstract
This article is the result of a community service activity aimed at strengthening civic skills through financial literacy training for PKK cadres in RW03, Jatinegara Kaum Village, East Jakarta. The training activity was conducted in five stages: ice breaking and introductory material, simulation, group discussion, presentation, and review. An appreciative inquiry approach was employed, focusing on the best practices that PKK cadres can utilize to develop financial management skills.
Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews with all participants involved in the activity. The data was then analyzed and presented in a descriptive narrative form. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis, confirmed by the opinions of key informants (Chairperson of PKK RW03). The results showed that participants were very enthusiastic about the activity, stating that it was easy to understand, enjoyable, applicable, and highly beneficial for housewives, who are the household financial managers. The learning approach used enhanced the knowledge and skills of PKK cadres in financial management, particularly in distinguishing between needs and wants. Additionally, this training activity fostered camaraderie and collaboration among all participants
