Abstract

The high number of violence cases against children poses a significant challenge particularly in elementary schools. The negative impacts of bullying can hinder educational achievement. Therefore, instilling anti-bullying values through ongoing educational programs such as audio fairy tale book is essential for students. This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of an audio fairy tale book as educational media for bullying prevention among elementary students to enhance awareness and anti-bullying attitudes. The Research and Development (RnD) method utilized the ADDIE model, encompassing analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Subjects included teachers and students from SDN 2 Krapyak and SDN 1 Sowan Lor in Jepara. Data collection instruments comprised questionnaires, interviews, observations, and expert validation. Data analysis was done quantitatively and qualitatively. The study results show that developing audio fairy tale book is very feasible and effective as an anti-bullying educational media in elementary schools. Media expert validation reached 90, material expert 94, with teacher responses of 90 and 92, as well as an average trial score of 4.6 and 4.48. The development of an audio fairy tale book effectively supports bullying prevention education in elementary schools. It enhances student engagement and strengthens understanding of anti-bullying attitudes. With a reflection guide at the end of each story, the book offers meaningful experience in shaping students positive attitudes and awareness toward bullying.
