Abstract
This study aims to describe the implementation of the methods of tahsin, ta-fahhum, tikrar, and muraja^ah in the Qur^anic memorization process by tahfiz students at Boarding School Bumi Kartini Jepara. It also seeks to identify the fac-tors that support and hinder the implementation of these methods in the pesantren. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was collected through observations, interviews with the caretakers, tahfiz teachers, and students, and documentation. Data analysis followed Robert K. Yin^s data tri-angulation procedure to ensure the validity of the findings. The study results show that applying tahsin, tafahhum, tikrar, and muraja^ah methods is effective in helping students improve their memorization of the Qur^an. Key factors include personal motivation, parental support, teachers, and a conducive social environ-ment. However, there are also hindering factors, such as the heavy school sched-ule, laziness, and difficulty managing time for muraja^ah. The conclusion of this study indicates that the success of memorization is strongly influenced by the combination of internal and external factors, as well as the importance of con-sistent guidance from teachers and a supportive environment. The implications of this research suggest the importance of better time management and increased motivation for students to maximize the effectiveness of these methods in Quranic memorization.
