Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of academic stress of students during the pandemic. This research was conducted using survey research with a descriptive quantitative approach. The samples in this study were students of SMA Negeri 1 Ngluwar, Magelang Regency. This research uses a descriptive approach with a survey type of research supplemented with qualitative data. The results of this study show that stress in students is caused by students^ inability to adjust to offline to online learning models and techniques. Academic stress is a response that arises due to the many demands and tasks that students must complete. During the pandemic period, students are required to be able to carry out the learning process, as well as complete assignments online. Some students feel that the change in the learning model is so heavy and not all students have the facilities to access the online learning model. Some students experience a fairly high level of stress 49%, moderate 36%, and low 15%, including cognitive, affective, psychomotor, and physiological symptoms with an average student stress score of 59, 22%. The data is reinforced by observations and interviews.
