Abstract
Mathematics learning outcomes in whole number operations material in class VI MI Muhammadiyah Sriwedari are still relatively low. This is because teachers use a direct learning model so that students are not actively involved in learning and tend to be boring. Students will find it difficult to assess and understand that mathematics is difficult. This research aims to determine the learning model at MI Muhammadiyah Sriwedari, the implementation and implementation of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model to improve mathematics learning outcomes at MI Muhammadiyah Sriwedari. This research is quantitative research using experimental methods. The population in this study were all class VI students at MI Muhammadiyah Sriwedari. Sampling used a saturated sampling technique, the entire population became the research sample. The data collection technique uses student learning outcomes tests in the form of Pretest and Post Test results, as well as data analysis techniques using the normality test and continued with hypothesis testing using the t test. The results of the research obtained a Pretest score which was tested on 28 class VI students, 9 students or 32% got a score above the KKM 70, then learning was carried out using the RME model and continued with a Post Test with the same questions, 26 students or 93% got a score above. KKM 70. Then this research carried out a normality test using the Kolmogorov Smirnov method. The data test was carried out on the Pretest learning result score data of 0.050 and the Post Test learning result of 0.028 so it can be stated that the research data analyzed was normally distributed. From the results of data processing using SPSS version 26, the output result was a df value of 27, a degree of freedom of 0.05, and a t table value of 2.05183. Thus, because the calculated t value is 11.112 > t table 2.05183, then according to the basis for decision making above it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that the application of the RME model can improve student learning outcomes in integer operations material.
