The present study is to develop students^ grammar skills in learning tenses through a Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT). This study adopts a classroom action research design that require the researcher to play an active role in the classroom and collect the data through interviews. It has been studied with 30 students from the second semester during a two-month process. Throughout the process, students firstly are introduced to a topic and a task, and secondly in the task cycle, students are instructed to make a short dialog through on line application (padlet.com) in which grammatical rules of tenses applied. The aim is to find out to what extent a Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) influences students^ understanding and writing of tenses mastery. By reviewing students^ responses, this study provided insight that a Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) can be used to develop teaching and learning tenses in EFL classroom.
