Abstract
Vocational High Schools (SMK) are one of the education sectors in Indonesia that have a greater impact in providing workforce stimulus that is ready and skilled to contribute directly and professionally to the development of world industry. This research determines and tests whether there is a significant influence on English language skills using the ESP approach in the center of excellence school curriculum. English with the English For Specific Purpose (ESP) Approach in the Center of Excellence Vocational School Curriculum implemented by Technology Vocational School shows a significant value based on the average results of descriptive statistical tests with posttest results for the control class of 77.30 and the Experimental class of 79.71 with these results it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the control class and the experimental class. And the results of the regression hypothesis test also show significant results by looking at the basic reference significance value (sig.) of 0.16 < 0.05, so from these results it is concluded that there is a significant influence on English language skills with the English For Specific Purpose (ESP) Approach on the Center of Excellence Vocational School Curriculum .
