Abstract

The construction of high-rise buildings has a higher risk of work accidents, namely falling from a height that results in death or disability. The cause can be caused by unsafe acts and unsafe conditions, so control is needed to be detected for identification and analysis to obtain prevention and control. Based on the results of preliminary studies by conducting interviews, observations and questionnaires on six high-rise building construction projects in East Jakarta. Two projects were identified as unsafe action and unsafe condition which are more risky than other projects, one of which has a larger number of towers and the other has a higher number of floors. Thus, an analysis of the risk of work accidents that occur is required. The analysis was carried out using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to determine the risk of high occupational accidents. The purpose of the study is to obtain accident risk management that has been analyzed based on the level of risk that has been measured. The method in this study uses descriptive quantitative proximity. Based on the results of the rpn value calculation, three levels of the highest risk of work accidents were obtained in the Pulo Jahe Flats Construction Project and the PIK Pulo Gadung Phase II Flats Construction Project, namely on finishing work and formwork work. Therefore, there are various preventive measures for work accidents, to minimize the risk of work accidents that may occur or recur.
