1. The novelty of this research is to combine two types of filler (pumice based
nanosilica and sodium silicate) as a medium to maintain mechanical characteristics
in the form of impact strength on GFRP composites. this is done with the aim of
obtaining fire-resistant GFRP but still able to maintain the mechanical characteristics
of the GFRP itself.
2. The nanosilica particle size used in this study is 74nm
