The pH of all formulas tends towards an alkaline pH- as far as I know, the skin pH is 4.5-6.5. If the pH of the preparation is more than 8 in the liquid soap preparation, will it not irritate the skin? 2. The antibacterial test results on both formulas showed promising results, but did the antibacterial test use a negative control without extract? Thank you

This study did not use a negtive control because in this study we wanted to test liquid soap preparations of guava leave extrac that could inhibit S. Aureus and E. coli bacteria Thank you
