Thank you Sir for your question. Based on my experience, the most common mistakes in learning any language is the feeling of being perfect at once or fear of making mistakes and relying on learning from a single modality activities.
We believe that everyone has their own learning styles, I myself for example is an auditory and kinesthetic learner, so I use not only book to read but also mostly warching tv, listening to any podcast of the language that I learn, having friend with other people from abroad, etc.
So, to solve these common mistakes (fear of practicing language and use only one learning source), language learners are suggested to be more brave in taking the risk of learning language, never afraid of making mistakes, be consistent, be determined, be open to learn from others as we know that collaboration is the key of this century^s successfull learning.
