There is a slight protest from the locals regarding the stack house plan, however it
is more about resistance an anxiety from the locals regarding how to adapt with the
new environment (high rise building).
The main strategy should be involving the locals to participate in designing the built
environment plan for the stack house. With this special approach, hopefully the
locals will be more open to the government, therefore it can help the government in
implementing their upgrading program
