As I explained in the video presentation, translational bioinformatics is a new discipline that uses bioinformatic tools to convert a vast amount of biological data into therapeutic actions. Therefore, translational bioinformatics will allow for a better understanding of disease processes by combining genetic, phenomic, and environmental data.
