Dear Mrs. Ika Zuwanna, I am interested in the research you are doing, I have
some questions:
1. what is the implementation of this material in engineering industry sector?
2. Is the availability of WPI sufficient if it is used to produce a component on an
industrial scale in a sustainable manner?
Very good question.
1. The implementation of biocomposite film materials on an industrial scale is to
develop new environmentally friendly materials, namely silica produced from the
extraction process can replace expensive and dangerous fillers such as titanium
dioxide. Currently, the development of biocomposite materials is increasing due to
the demand of the industrial sector for environmentally friendly and cheap
materials.
2. On an industrial scale the use of WPI is very possible to be sufficient on an
industrial scale this is because the process of making WPI itself comes from cheese,
milk and tofu. where it is estimated that in 2027 the milk production process will
increase by 9% and 37% of cheese production.
ok i got the point. means that the long-term goal of this research is more towards
the use of environmentally friendly materials by following the development of
market demand, right?.
