Question & Answer to the Presentation

Question from Ms. Henik Setiyaningsih Setiyaningsih

From what you described, apart from genetic factors are there other factors that can
trigger the occurrence of a disease?

Hello Ms. Henik, Thanks for your good question. Of course, a disease is not only
caused by genetic mutations. there are several other factors such as lifestyle
patterns or the effects of other pathologies. However, someone with certain genetics
has a greater risk of developing a disease

Thanks for your good question Ms. Dhea. The main point of this research is to
explore genetic mutations through a bioinformatics technique in order to identify
potential diseases.

Question from Ms. Setya Rini Abiyana

Thankyou for your good question MS. Setya. As I explained in the video
presentation, translational bioinformatics is a new discipline that uses bioinformatic
tools to convert a vast amount of biological data into therapeutic actions. Therefore,
translational bioinformatics will allow for a better understanding of disease processes
by combining genetic, phenomic, and environmental data.

Question from Ms. Zaleha Rumadi

Thankyou for your questions Ms. Zaleha. I wanna answer your good question.
By knowing genetic mutations, we can find out potential diseases that can occur in
someone who has this genetic code. So, we can take prevention or find the right
treatment based on genetics
