Replies: Reply from Dr. Agus Ulinuha 2022.12.21 21:31:04 Dear Ms. Mentari Putri Jati, Thank you for your question, The DC motors employed for powering the motorcycle is 2 type, i.e.: 1. Brushed DC motor, and 2. Brushless DC motor (BLDC motor). These 2 motors are successively installed in the motorcycle and their performance is tested to determine the characteristic of the motors. In this study, some conclusions may be given: 1. DC motor may provide better torsion but requires more power, 3. For the same kWh, BLDC motor may give a longer distance, but DC motor presents better torsion
