Thank you for your attentions
The parameters used are the percent grade and fuel
consumption used by the hauling equipment on the mine road.
Percent grade is not the slope of the road but is the result of
division the height between the two points of the segment
being measured (meters) and The flat distance between two
points of the road segment is measured (meters) peren grade
obtained at the time of mine road planning obtained from the
survey results of the mine road surface.
Thank you for your attentions, here is our respons for your
questions.
1. How to convert the slope of the road with vehicle fuel
consumption in this study?
Answer,
in this study did not convert the slope of the road but did
research whether the percent grade of the mine road would
affect both the hauling equipment loaded and empty on fuel
consumption used by using regression in the excel program
2. How do we easily define a 1 percent road slope
Answer
1% grade equal for every 1 meter distance there is a 1 cm
road height difference.
Hope this respons satislfiying
Assalamu^alaikum wr wb.
For research entitled ^The effect of the slope of the haul road on the fuel consumption of coal mining hauling trucks^ is a very interesting research topic. for that I want to ask whether this research has led to a fuel consumption control system caused by the angle of the road?
Waalikum salam wr.wb.
Thank you for your attentions,
Basically this research is emphasizing the efficiency of fuel
consumption. Fuel consumption used in hauling equipment
will result in reduced mining costs so it is necessary to
emphasize the use which will later become an evaluation in
making mine roads how the percent of mine roads will affect
the hauling equipment hauling both loaded and empty on the
fuel consumption used.
Its interesting we can share our experience..
