Dear authors
I would like to know the procedure for testing the characteristics of the resulting
current and voltage as well as the rotation and torque required to rotate the
generator. Would you mind explaining?
Thank you.

For this stage we just make prototype design and construction by calculation and
then for next stage we make prototype design and construction actual
our plan for testing procedure as follow
The first test to be carried out is to measure the output voltage and frequency
without load with a variable rotor speed. For star connection the rms voltage of each
phase to neutral and monitor by oscilloscope.
The next test is to provide a load that is an incandescent lamp with a power of 100
watts per phase connected to star and the generator coil is also connected to star.
The voltages Va , Vb and Vc are the rms phase to neutral voltages
The next test is to provide a load that is a 100-watt incandescent lamp connected
delta. The voltages Vab and Vac are the line-to-line voltages at the delta connected
generator output
our inspiration is as follow
the increasing price of electricity per-KWH
the reduction of subsidies for fuel oil (BBM) for power plants
the reduction of inventories of fuel oil and other fossil energy
the low utilization of renewable energy, especially wind energy
and also, help for global commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
Broadly speaking, permanent magnet synchronous generators can be divided into
two types when viewed from the direction of the magnetic flux produced, namely
- Radial Flux Permanent Magnet Generator and the direction of the flux is radially
perpendicular to the shaft of the machine
- Axial Flux Permanent Magnet Generator and the direction of the flux is parallel to
the shaft of the machine
In our study we chosen Axial Flux Permanent Magnet Generator and the direction of
the flux is parallel to the shaft of the machine, because simpler and compact design
We are design the Permanent Magnetic Sync Generator with standard software i.e.,
solid work for contraction design and excel for count the formula

We use the oscilloscope screen display for monitor the voltage waveform and phase
difference of the generated generator voltage are obtained.
