I am very interested in this ADR prototype research. What are the weaknesses in
using this ADR prototype? then can this prototype be directly applied to hospitals or
does it need validity first?
Replies:
The reason for differentiating the workflow systems for ordinary data input officers and
supervisory-level pharmacists is to avoid unauthorized and irresponsible data access
that can lead to patients^ personal data breach or data leak.
Yes, definitely. The workflow that has been presented really does need improvement. As
we are not from the field of Information Technology, we can only just give out the ideas
for the prototype which later can be developed into a real application or website by IT
professionals.
The biggest challenge, I would say, that may appear in the progress of digitalisation of
ADRM recordings is the uneven distribution of modernisation especially in rural areas
and hard to reach areas of Indonesia where it is difficult to install modernisation
infrastructure. But in my opinion, this challenge will be a great chance for Indonesia to
think of a better way to solve the problems by generalizing and making it reachable and
accessible to each and every person.
Digitalisation for ADRM recordings is important especially in today^s generation where
everything is becoming digitized. Digitalisation is also important for developing
countries such as Indonesia which have a large area and population where it would
increase paper wastes and also unverified and undisclosed recordings.
