The research aims to analyze the need for physical fitness aids as a medium for physical activity in learning Physical Education. Based on the observations of researchers, most educational units in Karawang Regency do not yet have media fitness equipment in the form of single bars, mattresses, catwalks, bench presses and others as a means of supporting the improvement of students^ physical fitness. This problem is reinforced by the 2007 Sport Development Index data which shows the quality of physical fitness of Indonesian students in the low category (low) because there is not yet sufficient movement media available. The approach in this study uses a quantitative approach, with survey research methods. The population involved was all physical education teachers in Karawang district. Sampling using Simple Random Sampling technique. From the entire population of physical education teachers who filled out the Google form, totaling 35 people, data analysis used descriptive statistics. The results showed that the average score was 21.3, included in the range of values 17.13 < X ≤- 25.47 in the Sufficiently needed category, while the Tool Needs indicator had a score of 35 included in the range X> 33.81 in the very needed category. Thus the results of the needs analysis research on the development of physical fitness activity tools can be followed up on research on the development of multifunctional based physical fitness tools that can be utilized by schools.
