Abstract
Based on Worldometers data, the number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia is 4,201,559, which places Indonesia as the 13th in the world with the highest number of Covid-19 accumulations. This condition encourages the government to urge the Indonesian people to comply with health protocols. However, some Indonesians still ignore the health protocol,
so it takes the creation of game-based educative media that is easy to understand. This research aims to design a user interface for game-based educative media to increase public awareness of health protocols. The design uses the design thinking method to describe every process carried out in realizing this game-based educative media. The research result is a Graphical User Interface (GUI) Game Prototype entitled Coronawave that provides information about health protocols and convince players to follow health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic.
