Abstract

Abstract. The Job delegation process sometimes does not go smoothly because they are only used orally or via email. The employee or subordinate assigned to the work delegation sometimes does not understand the details of the delegated work and the deadline for the work, and often there is a duplicate delegation because the boss is unsure of which subordinate party received the work delegation. Some companies have used the job delegation system to delegate work that is equipped with a monitoring system. Several applications can support the implementation of the job delegation system. However, the objective of this study is to find out which applications are suitable for use in organizations, especially educational institutions. This study collect data by conducting interview sessions with the associated different levels of employees in higher education, which are consist of 12 respondence of Staff, supervisors, and Manager of a private university in Jakarta (Indonesia) in November 2020. This study performed an in-depth analysis of comparing multiple applications and creating a job delegation system model that used the correct application for educational institutions. The conclusion of this study is to recommend a suitable job delegation system tool that can be implemented in educational institutions.
