Abstract
This study aims to describe and analyze the internalization of environmental citizenship or environmental citizenship in the development of Adiwiyata schools. The current decline in moral decadence has an impact on the low awareness of the environment in society. We know that, we need to live side by side with nature, not only in terms of its use, but also to pay attention to the impact of utilizing the environment. Environmental citizenship is a field of citizenship education that pays attention to the relationship between humans and nature and emphasizes that environmental conservation is the responsibility of everyone and at all times in minimizing the ecological impact on earth.
