Abstract
The use of Blockchain has solved many kinds of problems in various sectors. One of those sectors is agriculture. However, the use of blockchain technology in agriculture requires a systematic and clear picture. Here, a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) is presented with the aim to analyze relevant researches from certain years and find out how frequently the combination of Blockchain technology and the Internet of Things (IoT) is implemented in agriculture. 29 main studies have been extracted from five scientific databases, ranging from the publication year of 2016 to 2021, this topic is a relatively new research area. The results showed that 86% of the papers focused on data security. In addition, Asian researchers, especially from India and China, dominates 59% the theme of IoT-based blockchain in agriculture. Correspondingly, only 14% of the papers discuss the transparency and traceability of integrated data in agriculture using IoT-based blockchain technology.
