Design and Development of Digital Game for Food Waste Awareness Tubagus Zufri, Inovensius Hugo Bima, Nurul Aqmarina Ardani

Abstract
In 2018 in Indonesia there are 13 million tons of food waste and ranked 15th out of 67 countries with the largest producer of food waste. The amount of food waste produced is influenced by economic, social, and cultural factors. The purpose of this media is to invite children to involve to find out about how they can do to avoid food waste. The development included identification and define problem, an analysis, target behaviour, and prototyping of the computer game.The resulting form is a digital game to attract interest to be digested and understood about how to participate to solve food waste in Indonesia.User evaluation of the game has been performed to gain information of its usability and impact. The expected end result is that children can behave positively early on and can gradually reduce food waste in the future. The paper present the design process and methodology, the main design and observaion and evaluaation result.
