Abstract
PT. Gajah Tunggal. TBK is a company engaged in the automotive sector, especially tires, which was established in 1951. The fire protection system at PT. Gajah Tunggal still relies on a manual fire protection system, so there are still many shortcomings, therefore it is necessary to design an IoT-based fire protection system to facilitate the fire protection process. This study discusses the prototype of an IoT-based fire protection system using the Blynk application and solar energy. This research phase begins with data collection using observation, interviews, and library studies. Analysis using SIPOC and UML. The system design uses the prototype method and is programmed using C language on the Arduino IDE software. Based on the results of the system development that has been successfully created, with an android-based display to make it easier for K3 officers to carry out fire protection such as notification when a fire is detected, monitoring gas / smoke levels, monitoring temperature and humidity, monitoring room conditions, controlling water pumps, automatic water pumps, fire alarm, and has 2 sources of electrical energy so that the fire protection system can continue to work optimally.
