Abstract
Companies, industry and public institutions are dealing with a constant and multiple cyber threats. This raises awareness of the importance of cybersecurity in various fields including business and industry. Cybersecurity is needed for an organization to avoid various information system security risks such as damage of information or information systems, regulatory fines or legal fees, productivity loss, loss of important information in running the business, and reputation damage or loss of trust from customers. This study is a philosophical synthesis of cybersecurity research topic viewed from the ontology, epistemology, and axiology aspects. The result shows that cybersecurity ontologically is in the materialism form of human-computer interaction. Epistemologically, it is an intuitive experiment of phenomena by experimentation of cyber-attack, cyber threats in a cyberspace. Cybersecurity, in a axiological perspective should be formed in an integrated ecosystem cultivated among the citizen to raise the awareness of cyber-attack.
