My question: You are using 40% surfactan? are you sure that there is no micelles. Because your concentration of surfactan is very high. How about the toxicity dose of tween 80?

Reply from Ms. siti hajir 2020.11.18 13:14:01 Thanks for your Question Ms. Tiara I am sure about the composition of the nanoemulsion in my research, in Actually I have carried out various experiments to get the ratio of the surfactant, RBO oil and active quercetin used in order to obtain the optimal match to produce a stable nanoemulsion. and from the literature that I got Tween 80 is a surfactant that has non-toxic properties and does not irritate the skin, whose system works as an emulsifier and maintains a balance between hydrophobic groups and hydrophilic groups.
