A person^s language ability is an important thing to improve. However, it is difficult to do when applied to children with special needs, such as autism. Therefore, the purpose of this study is that the author wants to know the extent of the ability of autistic students to articulate phonetic sounds and basic words correctly. In addition, this study also aims to determine the ability of sufferers to understand an object concept instructed by the teacher. For this research method, the approach used is qualitative research. Data collection for this study was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation of autistic students^ speech. Furthermore, the collected data will be analyzed. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative methods. The initial hypothesis of this study shows that autistic students with the category of being able to learn can pronounce similar bilabial sounds, such as /p/ and /b/, count, and recognize concepts with instructions although they are still imperfect. Of course, this is due to the child^s lack of focus in learning. The target achieved from this study is to improve language skills in autistic children from the aspect of basic vocabulary pronunciation. There are several output targets resulting from this research, namely scientific articles in national journals accredited by Sinta 3, books with ISBNs from research results, dissemination at the BAIC international seminar forum, and registration of intellectual property rights in the form of copyright with granted status.
