THE ROLE OF HUMAN RESOURCE READINESS IN SUPPORTING ORGANIZATIONAL DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AMONG EDUCATORS & STAFF OF HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN PURWAKARTA CITY Management, Faculty of Economic and Business Education, Indonesian University of Education Abstract This study aims to analyze the role of Human Resource Readiness in supporting digital transformation at universities in Purwakarta City. Human Resource Readiness is understood as the readiness of human resources, particularly lecturers and educational staff, to respond to digital change through competency, digital literacy, and adaptability. The dependent variable in this study is organizational digital transformation, while the independent variable is human resource readiness. This study used a quantitative method with simple linear regression analysis. The research sample consisted of 197 respondents consisting of lecturers and educational staff at universities in Purwakarta City. The results of the study indicate that Human Resource Readiness has a positive and significant effect on organizational digital transformation, with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.874. This means that 87.4 percent of the variation in digital transformation is explained by HR readiness, while the remaining 12.6 percent is influenced by other factors outside this study. These findings confirm that the success of digital transformation is not only determined by the availability of technology, but also depends heavily on human readiness in operating, adapting, and developing digital systems. This study shows that training, digital skills, and support are needed to help educators face Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0.
