SPMI PROGRAM INNOVATION AT LLDIKTI IV WEST JAVA AND BANTEN Universitas Islam Bandung Abstract This study aims to analyze the innovations carried out by the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) Region IV in strengthening the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) in Private Universities (PTS) in West Java and Banten. Based on clustering data, there are still many PTS in the red zone (reporting <50%) and yellow (50-80%), which indicates low readiness and understanding of the implementation of SPMI. LLDIKTI IV initiated several acceleration strategies, including the SPMI Clinic, the Regional Facilitator Strengthening Program, and the development of innovations such as monitoring dashboards, SPMI pocket books, and guidelines for Higher Education Institutions. The results of the activities showed a significant increase in the number of PTS moving to the green zone (reporting >80%), which indicates that the validity of the SPMI documents and the effectiveness of quality implementation are increasing. These findings indicate that systematic intervention and intensive technical assistance have a positive impact on the readiness of institutions to carry out the PPEPP cycle in a complete and sustainable manner. This study recommends strengthening regional facilitators, replication of good practices, and improving quality culture as strategic steps in expanding the impact of SPMI implementation throughout Indonesia as a form of innovation in SPMI implementation.
