Abstract

KomDesa is a collaborative digital platform designed to strengthen interaction between village communities, village governments, and universities in supporting inclusive, participatory, and sustainable village development. The platform integrates five key features-UNISBA Research & Service, Find Experts, Community, Consulting, and Explore Community Issues-that facilitate information exchange, mentoring, problem identification, and solutions based on active community participation. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, combining literature review, platform observations, and thematic analysis to map the contribution of each feature to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the village level. The results show that KomDesa contributes significantly to SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 9 (Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG 11 (Sustainable Settlements), and SDG 16 (Resilient Institutions). In addition to enabling knowledge transfer, access to expertise, and strengthening socio-economic networks, the platform promotes transparency, accountability, and participatory governance in villages. The distinctive aspect of KomDesa is the integration of ethical values and sustainability principles that are in harmony with the halal ecosystem, adjusted to the socio-cultural context of Indonesian villages. These findings affirm the strategic role of Komdesasa as an adaptive smart village model and provide an empirical basis for the development of inclusive digital policies, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and holistic village empowerment. Future development should focus on implementing SDG achievement monitoring systems and expanding cross-sector partnerships to improve the effectiveness of the platform, thereby accelerating a sustainable, inclusive, and globally competitive digital transformation in villages.
