Abstract

Rock mining materials are very important commodities for infrastructure development programs and are very important for improving the national economy. Along with this program, there will also be an increase in the need for raw materials for infrastructure development, especially limestone raw materials as a cement mixture. The increase in cement needs must be accompanied by an increase in production capacity in several factories in Indonesia. The increasing supply of raw materials encourages investors to mine limestone. Many business actors in the limestone mining sector will play an active role in supporting government programs in meeting cement raw materials. West Bandung Regency is an area in West Java that has the potential for limestone mining materials that are worthy of being developed. This happens because several rock formations in the West Bandung Regency area are composed of limestone and have a fairly good distribution and have the potential for mining. Therefore, mining efforts cannot be separated from the work of searching for mining materials or mining materials. One of the jobs that must be done is to carry out exploration activities, mining exploration activities play a very important role in determining the quantity, quality, and form of mining materials which will later be useful as information to be used as mining prospects in the future.
